This full-day tour takes you along the Cape Whale Coast to Gansbaai, where you'll board a boat in search of the Marine Big 5 - Southern Right Whales, Great White Sharks, dolphins, Cape Fur Seals, and the endangered African Penguin. Led by experienced marine biologists, the 2-hour boat trip explores the waters around Dyer Island and the famous Shark Alley.
On the return to Cape Town, you'll stop in Hermanus — one of the world's best land-based whale watching destinations — for lunch and whale spotting along the cliffs. The journey continues along the spectacular Clarence Drive (R44), one of South Africa's most beautiful coastal roads, winding through the UNESCO Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve, stopping at the charming seaside villages of Rooi-Els, Betty's Bay, and Kleinmond.
