A friend & I vacationed in Cape Town Feb 13-27. Our tour guide was Keith Van Wyk from Misty Blue Travels. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide! Firstly, because he is totally honest, trustworthy, and dependable. And secondly, because he knows the area and what’s important to see and experience if you really want to get the flavor and spirit of the country and its people. We learned historical facts as well as the issues confronting folks today as we drove through some of the most beautiful scenic spots on earth. Also engaged in lots of laughing as he has a humorous side, too. I highly recommend hiring Mr. Van Wyk as your tour guide when you travel to Cape Town. You won’t be disappointed!

It can be overwhelming to really get to know a country with as much cultural breadth and natural beauty as South Africa, but with Keith, I felt I gained a real understanding of it. Keith is an excellent guide in terms of his professionalism he is reliable in both his punctuality, and his flexibility if you want to play your trip by ear and be spontaneous about your activities and destinations. But even more importantly, Keith has become a genuine friend of mine who shows up with warmth, care, and an abundance of personal anecdotes and knowledge of South Africa, which you cannot get elsewhere.

I travelled to South Africa a few times, and I was lucky to meet Keith on one of those trips. Since then, I've contacted Keith every time I've visited Cape Town. Whether it's discovering new places, learning more about the local culture, or just enjoying a good chat, it's always a pleasure. Keith is friendly, genuine, and someone you can trust completely. Thanks for your companionship Keith, and I look forward to seeing you again!

Keith Van Wyk was a very knowledgeable and interesting guide when he showed me Cape Town. It was the first time i had visited Cape Town and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. When I returned there on later occasions I always connected with him. He taught me about the areas outside but connected to Cape Town. I can recommend him as an excellent guide.
